Why I created Lift With Hannah

That picture on the left is from when I was in my late teens or early 20s. I had grown up naturally skinny and able to eat anything without gaining weight.

When I reached my late teens I gained a bit of weight and felt really self-conscious. I had no idea what to do to lose weight and was so confused with all the fads that I knew I needed help.

I joined a gym and hired a personal trainer. I was so committed and determined to get fit so I took this picture as my starting point to look back on.

I was paired with a male personal trainer in his early 20s, and I felt like he just really did not care at all. He basically just left me on the treadmill and told me I needed to do cardio to lose weight. He didn't make me feel comfortable or give me any information. He was not helpful at all.

I remember leaving feeling so disheartened. It was a really big thing for me to even get into the gym. I was so nervous and intimidated. Back then there was no Instagram, and I didn't have any examples of women who went to the gym. 

I had a preconception that everyone in the gym was big, muscly and on steroids and when I got there, it was everything I had imagined it to be. The personal trainer I was given was too busy looking in the mirror to care whether or not I felt comfortable or got the results that I was there for. It was about 6 or 7 years before I ever stepped foot in a gym again.

For a long time after that, I couldn't find anyone to help me. I didn't know how to work out properly.
I would always hear different information and it was so frustrating! I really tried and did random workouts that I found on Youtube but nothing was working. I didn't realise I needed to be following a structured plan and something called "progressive overload".
In 2017 I decided to give it another go. I had seen through social media what other women had achieved and I knew that if they could do it, I could too.
I just needed to know HOW. So I hired another coach, this time online, and I joined the gym for a second time.
I learnt SO much, and one of the key things that I learnt was that it's not as complicated as it seems!
The fitness industry has done a very good job of overcomplicating things and making it seem REALLY, REALLY hard to get your dream body.
That way, they can sell us all the magic pills and skinny teas and whatever else. It's a trillion-dollar industry for a reason.
​Now, my mission is to break through the BS and help you get on the most simple and enjoyable path to achieving your goals right now.
I don't want you to waste years like I did, trying and failing. Feeling lost, overwhelmed, frustrated and confused.
If you want results as bad as I did, and you're ready to feel strong, confident, happy and healthy, you can do it too!
That's the reason I created this challenge. I can't wait for you to experience it too.

What is Lift With Hannah?

You will learn so much!

The Lift with Hannah training program focuses on Progressive Overload. This training method involves gradually increasing the intensity or difficulty of workouts over time so you keep getting results and avoid plateaus.

We will start with Foundations so that you are confident in all of the main movements and then each training block will focus on a different training technique, so you will always be learning and challenging your body, and getting amazing results.

Don't worry if you don't know how to do certain exercises yet, I will teach you how to safely perform each exercise so that you feel confident. 

As you progress through the program you will keep access to the previous levels, so if you feel you are not ready to move on you can extend your current training phase and go at your own pace, moving on when you are ready.

You will receive this via my very own Hannah Saad Fitness App which I have created so that you can track your progress and log your workouts (including reps, sets and amount of weight lifted)
